FIND OUT WHY AVOCADO IS CONSIDERED A SUPER FOOD AND HOW IT FIGHTS CANCER!

Avocado is a large berry containing a single seed. It is native to Southern Central Mexico. This fruit is an excellent source of healthy monounsaturated fats, vitamins, anti oxidants and a wide variety of nutrients. It includes 20 different vitamins and minerals. That is why, because of it healthy properties, it is not surprising that it is often referred to as a "super food". Recent studies show that avocados, fights a rare and deadly form of cancer, the AML (acute myeloid leukemia it is a type of cancer wherein the bone marrow creates abnormal myeloblasts or a type of white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. It is commonly known as the cancer of the blood and bones). Avocados contains Avocatin B, a type of fat that fights this cancer. This Avocatin B targets the leukemia stem cells which is the one responsible for AML recurrence.

You can get this fat just by simply peeling the avocado properly. This fat wipes out the cancer cells and leaves the healthy cells unharmed. Cancer fighting carotenoids are most abundant in the dark green portion of the fruit, the one closest to the skin.

We will teach you how to properly peel the avocado :

- Cut the avocado length-wise, just around the seed.
- Holding the avocado, twist and gently separate the now two portions.
- Remove the seed and cut again in half length-wise.
- Now peel the skin side of each using your thumb and index finger.
