Sitting Is Actually Bad For Your Health! Here are the Reasons Why!

     A lot of us spend out days in front of the computer, whether you're an adult, a teenager, or a kid. Sadly it has been a habit that poses a great health risk for everyone of us. Sitting is actually bad for everyone's health because it damages the spine, leads a person to obesity, diabetes, weakens the heart, increases cholesterol levels, decelerates blood flow, and even lead a person to having diseases such as cancer.

     According to statistics, around 80% of Americans use the Internet on a daily basis,and 90% of the households in America has at least a computer. Even in the Philippines, there's a sudden emergence of numerous Computer shops, in which any person, may he/she be young or not can use it for an hour or unlimited time in return of exchange of money.


     Experts have claimed that the numbers of Computer users have been rising by 10 million annually, and 40% of these people have become patients because of having back pain issues, which is a result of sitting in a bad posture and also the prolonged use of computers.

     In case you are working, or spending a lot of hours in front of a computer or laptop, try to rest every now and then, and use your time more wisely. If you feel any muscle or spine pain, get up from the chair, and do some stretching so as to avoid further complications.

     If you are an adult, who has a child or a nephew that is still at a young age, try to play with them not with the use of video games, or computers, instead go for the option of playing at a park, or playing ball games with them so that their body won't get damaged at an early age.

     Researchers have found out that sitting in front of a computer for 2 hours or more can increase the chance of a person having a damage in their neck, spine, and even joints. That's why its recommended that children less than 12, shouldn't sit in front of a computer for more than 2 hours a day.
