Home Remedies for Dry Hands and Feet! Make It Soft And Odorless

8. Make them minty fresh
     The Podiatrist claimed that when using Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash it can soften your dry skin on your feet. The said mouthwash contains Benzoic acid that can help to get rid off the dead skin from your hands and feet, and also ethanol to protect the hands and feet from bacteria and fungus (reducing the odor of your feet).

Ingredients:

- Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash
- Two 1/2 buckets of water

Procedure:

- Mix one part of Listerine to 2 parts of water and soak your hands/feet for 14 to 20 minutes.

7. Wear socks to prevent cracks
     You must wear comfortable socks or slippers when walking around your house. Walking around barefoot is the most common cause of the thickening of the skin on the sole of your foot. The thick skin on the sole of your foot can lead you to have deep cracks in your heels if you don't treat the thick skin on your sole asap it'll get a bit worse, that's why we suggest you to wear comfortable socks or slippers.




6. Soothe your Hands and feet with a yogurt mask
     A cheap remedy and alternative for high-end creams that would cost you a thousand to buy. Try coating your dry hands and feet with full-fat yogurt. Since Yogurt contains lactic acid that acts as a natural exfoliate that can remove the dead skin on your hands and feet while the fats will be going to restore the moisture of your skin, for a fresher and newer sensation of your hands and feet. For an extra boost result, before slathering the yogurt to your skin, mix a teaspoon of raw honey into the yogurt, because the honey will act as a super hydrating substance in the mixture.

Ingredients:

- Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of raw honey

Procedure:

- Gently apply the mixture to your skin.
- Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off.

5. Spritz dryness away
     Flowers can also be one of the natural remedy to your skin. The Rose and lavender essential oil are great for hydrating the skin which will be a good remedy for those dry hands and feet of yours. Plus the smell is also good for relaxing.

Ingredients:

- Essential oil (Rose or Lavander)
- Water
- 4 oz. spray bottle

Procedure:

- Mix a few drops of any of these essential oils with water in a four ounce spray bottle. Spray it on your dry hands and feet whenever your skin needs a boost.

4. Whip up an at-home cold cream
     This next natural remedy is guaranteed to soften your skin. All you need to do is follow up the steps bellow as the mixture you will make can last up to three months which is a good remedy for your dry hands and feet.

Ingredients:

- 1 oz. beeswax
- 1/3 cup virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil.

Procedure:

- Melt the beeswax.
- Heat the oil slightly over a saucepan, then pour into the melted beeswax.
- Heat the water or rosewater in the saucepan, then stir it, drop by drop, into the oil and wax mixture.
- Remove from heat and stir it up until the mixture is cooled and thick.
- Blend in the lavender essential oil.
- Spoon the mixture into a jar and store in a cool, dark place. This mixture should last about three months.

3. Mash an avocado
     Avocado contains fats, which has the ability to nourish your dry hands and foot.

Ingredients:

- Fresh avocado
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/8 cup of sugar (The sugar will exfoliate dead skin away while the oils will moisturize your skin).

Procedure:

Smash the avocado and combine the said ingredients.

2. Slather on vitamin E
     Vitamin E is well known as a partner of the skin. Look for a lotion with vitamin E or buy some vitamin E capsules.

Ingredients:

- Vitamin E capsules
- 1 spoonful of olive oil (Olive oil is a natural source of vitamin E and will also decrease the stickness of the capsules).

Procedure:

- Pierce 3-5 vitamin E capsules and squeeze the contents in a small bowl.
- Mix with one spoonful of olive oil and massage into dry patches of your skin.

     Vitamin B3 has the ability to repair damage skin. This vitamin B3 increase the production of ceramides and fatty acids, two components of your skins outer protective shield.

Procedure:

- Simply apply the certain product with vitamin B3 in your skin.
