This Ingredient Can Help You Repair Your Kidney!

Our kidneys might be small, but overall they are responsible for very important tasks and functions in our body which can impact on our health. Our kidneys can filter at least 120 quarts of blood everyday and can also produce about two quarts of urine. The kidneys can also filter the waste, and fluid that is to be excreted by the body.

However there are some problems that can occur and might lead to kidney damage in which includes the people who had the type II of diabetes and those who have high blood pressure. There are treatments and medication available but it might cost a bit of money.

Thankfully there's one kitchen ingredient that can help in repairing our kidney! Yes, there is. And that particular ingredient is called sodium bicarbonate, or also known as baking soda. You might ask, how or why can baking soda help in repairing our kidneys? Here's how!

Baking Soda? How?

Here's a bit of a science throwback topic! The endocrine system includes pancreas, which produces sodium bicarbonate which provides the protection for the kidneys at the time of digestion. There are times in which the kidneys will also produce the chemical, which depends on what you eat.

However if you eat a lot of fatty, fried, and sugary foods, this can stress out the endocrine system and that means that when the endocrine system is stressed out, both the kidneys and the pancreas will reduce their production of sodium bicarbonate, in which the acid will be overwhelming for our kidneys which will result and lead to kidney damage.

How to Use Baking Soda?

It is important to talk first with your trusted medical doctor before you use baking soda for treating your kidneys, especially for those who have sensitive stomach since it might be hard for their stomach to digest it. Basically baking soda is safe unless you have a sensitive stomach.

First Day of Consuming Baking Soda:

Consume half a teaspoon of baking soda while placing it under your tongue. If you don't want it to consume that way, you can mix it with some water.

Second to Third/Fourth Day:

Mix half a teaspoon of baking soda and salt of the same amount (iodized would do) along with 1.5 liters of water. Drink this for 2-3 days.

Fifth Day & So on:

Reduce the dosage to 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/3 teaspoon of salt.
